Two great weekends with lots of arrows, steep shots and good spirits lie behind us. This weekend our archers were at the 3D tournament in Bärenbach, and before that we trained on an especially good course in Kopp.
🏆 This weekend: 3D tournament in Bärenbach!

Last weekend the 3D tournament in Bärenbach was on, a fixed date in our calendar.
As every year, the organisers did a great job:
- Course: demanding distances, tricky shooting windows and cleverly placed targets, such as the bear in the dense undergrowth that needed full concentration.
- Atmosphere & organisation: everything ran smoothly as usual, and the mood on the round and at the camp was great again.
- Hits: our archers put their arrows into the kill zone with their usual precision!
A huge thank-you to the organisers in Bärenbach, we’ll be back next year! http://www.baefelbosch.de/

🌲 Training: the course at the Wolffhotel / Archeryhotel in Kopp (Vulkaneifel) (23.8.2026)
In Kopp at the Archeryhotel / Wolffhotel we shot an exceptionally good course.

We have rarely shot a better course.
- Mix of field & 3D: very varied terrain, very well set.
- Made for compound (and everyone else!): you almost get the feeling the course was set by compound archers for compound archers: clean lines, good clearings and punchy distances. But all other bow types get their money’s worth here too.
- Shooting angles & topography: uphill, downhill and challenging slopes.
- Good for tuning your setup: with the big differences in height and angle, the course is well suited to testing your equipment. If you want to know whether your bow is set up correctly and whether, for example, the third axis of your sight really is right, this is a good place to check.
- Landscape: the Vulkaneifel alone is worth the trip, and there are few nicer places for a long training session.

🎯 Next stop: 3D IFAA national championship at Bouschéisser Esch/Uelzecht on 5 and 6 September! Invitation
