Last Sunday, 27 September, we were in Gorcy for the official 3D tournament hosted by the Archer Club Haucourt-Moulaine. On the programme were 24 targets in a beautiful setting, 72 archers on the start list and a day outdoors just the way we like it.

The course was well made: not too easy, just right. The distances varied, the shooting angles were interesting and the targets were well placed among the trees, rocks and paths. You had to stay focused on every target, but it never got frustrating.
🌳 A course through a stunning park
The course wound through a beautiful park with a pond, a statue around the bend of a path, old buildings, a little stream and woodland trails, all under the autumn sun. That alone made the trip worth it.

🍽️ And of course: lunch
After the course we had a good lunch, got our strength back and talked about the best (and not-so-best) shots of the day.
A big thank you to the Archer Club Haucourt-Moulaine and all the volunteers for the organisation, the warm welcome and this superb course. We’ll gladly be back!
